ABSTRACT
Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. It can be prevented and its treatment supported through the consumption of simple foods containing functional ingredients that are affordable and easily accessible. These ingredients may serve as an alternative approach to aid the recovery process of TB patients, particularly by helping eliminate pro-inflammatory compounds. In this study, patients were treated with Bellforte Nuggets for 15 days, with a dosage of 2 pieces per day, each weighing 50 grams. Data analysis was conducted using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality, followed by a paired T-test. The results showed a statistically significant difference (p = 0.001) in all measured parameters before and after the intervention, indicating that Bellforte Nuggets effectively support the recovery process in TB patients.
